The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented. Customers may experience a slight delay with email event syncing while our services auto-scale to adjust for the volume. We expect everything to be back to normal in about 1.5 hours.

Investigating
We are currently investigating a delay with US Email Statistics syncing to CRM. Emails will send as intended though the statistics around them will be delayed.
This will also cause delayed statistics on the Email Statistics Report, as well as delays in Campaign Automation participant progression (if a trigger/action is looking for email opens/clicks).
